Do I have to print out my ticket?
You will receive your ticket for Whisky Live Germany in digital form. You can either bring this online ticket with you in printed form (black and white is sufficient) or simply show it on your smartphone.

Can I bring pets to the trade fair?
Pets are not allowed on the exhibition grounds.

Is there a minimum age for visiting the fair?
Access to Whisky Live Germany is only permitted to persons aged 18 and over. As a ticket holder, you must be able to identify yourself on site. Therefore, please ensure you bring a valid ID document with you.

What is the public day?
Saturday, 11 October 2025, is our public day. On this day you can visit Whisky Live Germany as a private individual.

What is the trade visitor day?
Sunday, 12 October 2025, is our trade visitor day. It is aimed at retailers, industry representatives and service providers, for example. In order to gain access to the trade visitor day, proof is required, which will be checked by the organiser.

Is there a paramedic on the exhibition grounds?
Yes, the on-site paramedics will help if necessary.

What does “drink responsibly” mean?
Whisky Live Germany is a tasting event. It's all about the responsible and appropriate enjoyment of premium spirits. It's your responsibility to know your limits. Spittoons will be available at the stands to help you limit the amount of alcohol consumed, and there will be plenty of free water at various stations throughout the event. Thank you for helping us keep the show safe for you and others.

How do I get my free digital trial subscription to Whisky Magazine?
The ticket price for the public day includes a three-month digital subscription to Whisky Magazine. The established medium is packed with industry highlights and everything whisky lovers want to know. It keeps you up to date with the latest whisky news, trends and expert knowledge. Simply register here and start your free trial subscription.

Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, the CCH offers a cloakroom service in the foyer area. The cloakroom opens at the start of the trade fair and closes 30 minutes after the end of the event. The fee is €3.50 per item (coat/jacket) and €5.50 per piece of luggage.

Can I bring a bag or backpack?
Backpacks are generally permitted, but will be subject to security checks at the entrance. However, we recommend bringing only essential items and avoiding large bags if possible to expedite entry. A cloakroom is available, and everyone will also receive a trade fair bag at the entrance.

Can I buy bottles on site?
Selected bottlings, as well as special bottlings from the limited-edition Awakening Series 2025, are available for purchase at the stands. Payment is best by card. (See catering information.)

Can I bring my own food or drink?
Food: No, a selection of food will be available for purchase on-site. Please note that only card payments are accepted at the catering stands.
Drinks: Yes, you are allowed to bring non-alcoholic beverages. However, glass bottles are not permitted. Water is available free of charge and in sufficient quantities.

Do I get a free tasting glass?
Yes, you'll receive a trade fair bag at the entrance, which also includes a tasting glass with a lanyard to wear around your neck. If the glass gets too dirty or sticky, you can exchange it for a fresh one at the Whisky Live Germany Servicepoint in the foyer.

Can I still buy tickets on site?
Yes, there will be a box office at CCH. However, we cannot guarantee ticket availability in advance. Once the maximum number of people has been reached, no further tickets will be sold for safety reasons. Just keep an eye on the website.
ATTENTION TRADE VISITORS: Anyone who wants to spontaneously visit the trade fair on Sunday must be able to identify themselves as a trade visitor at the entrance (e.g. extract from the commercial register, trade license – in copy or digital form – business card, etc.).
