5. Use of Social Media: Videos

Use of YouTube Videos

This website uses the YouTube embedding function to display and play videos from the provider "YouTube," which belongs to Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").

The extended data protection mode is used here, which, according to the provider, only starts storing user information when the video(s) are played. When an embedded YouTube video is played, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to YouTube, these cookies serve, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent abusive actions. If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account when you click on a video. If you do not want this assignment with your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on Google’s legitimate interests in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or demand-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

Regardless of whether the embedded videos are played, a connection to the Google "DoubleClick" network is established each time this website is accessed, which may trigger further data processing operations beyond our control.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield," which ensures compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

Further information on data protection at "YouTube" can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy

6. Online Marketing

6.1 DoubleClick by Google

This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("DoubleClick").

DoubleClick uses cookies to display relevant ads to users, improve campaign performance reports, or prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Through a cookie ID, Google records which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being shown multiple times. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Furthermore, DoubleClick can capture conversions via cookie IDs related to ad requests. This happens, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website and makes a purchase using the same browser. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain personal data.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google’s server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through this tool and therefore inform you according to our knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or logged in, there is a possibility that Google may obtain and store your IP address.

If you wish to object to this tracking process, you can deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com (https://www.google.de/settings/ads), noting that this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies. Alternatively, you can obtain information about cookie settings from the Digital Advertising Alliance at www.aboutads.info and make appropriate adjustments. Finally, you can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or exclude them for specific cases or in general. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the US-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield," ensuring compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

Google AdSense uses "DoubleClick DART Cookies" ("Cookies"), which are text files stored on your computer to enable the analysis of website usage. Additionally, Google AdSense uses "Web Beacons" (small invisible graphics) to collect information, enabling simple actions such as visitor traffic to be recorded, collected, and evaluated.

The information generated by the cookie and/or web beacon (including your IP address) about your use of this website is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the USA.

Google uses this information to evaluate your usage of the website concerning AdSense ads. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google AdSense will not be merged with other Google data. The information collected by Google may be transferred to third parties where required by law or where third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to target advertising to users through third-party advertisers, displaying ads based on evaluated user behavior on this website. The processing also serves our financial interest in exploiting the economic potential of our website by displaying personalized third-party advertising content for a fee.

9. Tools and Miscellaneous

9.1 Google Maps We use Google Maps (API) from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") on our website. Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps to visually present geographical information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you, making it easier for you to plan your route.

As soon as you access subpages where the Google Maps map is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want this assignment to your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. As a result, Google becomes aware that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This represents a legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
