‘Defend, protect, preserve’ is Sea Shepherd's motto. Founded in 1977, the donation-funded non-profit marine conservation organisation has grown into a global movement. Today, thousands of volunteers from over 20 countries set sail. Their determined fight against whalers, poachers and polluters is tough. Kirsch Import donates at least nine per cent of the proceeds from the sale of premium whisky, rum and gin to Sea Shepherd. This has already generated over a quarter of a million euros in donations.
